U MANYA K: Bormase school gets new school block

Pupils of Bormase Primary school in the Upper Manya District in the Eastern Region have every reason to be grateful to government and the district assembly for coming to their aid in times of need.
The farming community which had its school under a shade which could not protect the teachers and pupils under difficult weather conditions now boost of a modern 6-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities.
With the new structure, pupils now learn in condusive environment and this is expected to improve the standard of education in the district.
Mr. Victor Smith who visited the school expressed delight at the new condition under which the students are learning and stated that the current policy of government is to focus on deprived communities by helping them improve their educational, social and economic infrastructure so that they do not feel neglected.
Meanwhile, authorities at the school have appealed to government and the assembly to entend the school feeding programme to the school to attract more pupils and to retain those already there.
