LAWRA: Assembly moves to drill more boreholes for residents

At least 10 boreholes are currently being drilled for residents in some selected communities in the Lawra district to ease the difficulty of accessing potable water in those areas.
This is part of government’s strategies through the Assembly to secure good number of boreholes that will aid in improving the quality of lives of inhabitants, especially those living in the deprived communities.
Mr. Abu Samson, District Chief Executive for the area maintained that the Assembly is still implementing various ways to boost the water system for residents in the district this year. He was speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com.
He therefore claimed that works on the projects are moving on smoothly in the various earmarked communities in the district, adding that the Assembly will ensure that works will be completed on schedule to enable the people access safe drinking water for use in their homes.
Some of the beneficiary communities are Kuowob, Tuori and Dowinekor amongst others.
