K NANKANA E:Saboro dam to be rehabilitated

The Kassena Nankana East District Assembly is to commit resources to rehabilitate the Saboro dam to improve agriculture activities in the community.

The move comes on the heels of growing concerns to provide adequate dams in farming communities which will assist farmers get accessibility to irrigation facilities to boost their production even in the dry seasons.

The Assembly member for the area, Awiah W. Dominic who disclosed this in an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com said the project could impact positively on agric, as this will enable farmers get busy all year round in their production.

He therefore expressed gratitude to the Assembly for such an initiative and called on the Assembly to expedite moves on that project to stimulate growth in the agric sector.
