K NANKANA E: Assemblyman pleads for electricity

Some inhabitants at the Saboro electoral area in the Kassena Nankana East District Assembly are pressing for the provision of electricity to boost their social lives in the area.

Assembly member for the area, Awiah W. Dominic maintained that only few areas have access to electricity whiles a chunk of the environs are experiencing darkness.

He made this known in an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com to highlight some of the developmental challenges in the area.

However, this notwithstanding Mr. Awiah Dominic stated that the Assembly has initiated measures to solving the water issues in the area.

He said recently the Assembly is drilling two boreholes at Warania and Awe JHS respectively to guarantee unlimited access to potable water in the area.

According to him this will help reduce the difficulty of inhabitants in their search for safe drinking water in the area.
