AHAFO A S:12-seater KVIP for Sabronum commences

Sabronum, a community in the Ahafo-Ano South District in the Ashanti Region has benefited from the construction of a 12-seater KVIP toilet facility financed by a group in the town called Sabronum Community Association (SCA).

The facility worth GHs30, 000 will help improve the level of sanitation in the area as well as reduce the spate of preventable hygienic ailments that affect residents.

The president of SCA speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony for the project to commence indicated that government alone could not provide the needs of all in the country hence the need to support government in order to reduce the burden on it.

“Conscious efforts in addressing such challenges should be embarked upon by all stakeholders involved in issues concerning health,” he added.

Otumfuo Nkorsuohene, Nana Osei Owusu Banehene was appreciative of the efforts by the Association commended them for having the welfare of the residents in heart and in mind.
