The District Chief Executive for the Kassena Nankana East District Assembly, Thomas Dalu Addah has emphasized that most roads in the district needs to be reconstructed to boost transportation in the area.

Although he claimed the government together with the Assembly has made some significant mark with regards to road infrastructure, he desired that a lot more be done to create an unquestioned road system for people of the area.

Mr. Thomas Dalu Addah was speaking with Ghanadistricts.com in an interview.

However, he said the Assembly has currently attended to some roads to reshape them, saying that the government is supporting the Assembly to reconstruct the culverts on stretches such as the Zokor-Siribu, and Nakolo-Paga roads.

He also revealed that the Kanbida-Sirigu road is seriously under construction as contractors have already surfaced it with bitumen. According to him, the road will be fully completed by the end of the year.
