AJUMAKO:14 schools benefit from feeding programme

About 14 schools within the Ajumako/Enyan/ Essiam (AEE) District of the Central Region have been added to the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP), tallying the beneficiary schools to about 19 in the district.
This eventually increased total beneficiaries to 5065 pupils across the district.
The Schools include Nsawadze Methodist Primary, Enyan Apaa Methodist, Obontser Methodist Primary, Abowinum D/A Primary, Assempanyi D/A, Esikado D/A primary and Kindergarten (KG) and Obrawogum Anglican KG and Primary Schools.
The rest are Breman Fawomanye D/A Primary, Enyan Kokwado D/A Primary, Enyan Eyiankron DA Primary, Eyan Akotogua D/A Primary, Kyebil D/A Primary, Abeadze D/A primary and Kwanyako KG & Primary schools.
Addressing members at the assembly’s ordinary meeting, the District Chief Executive (DCE) Peter Light Koomson stated that the programme was specifically aimed at improving education in deprived communities by providing pupils with one hot nutritional meal daily.
