BUNKPURUGU Y: Two SHS get boarding facilities

Two Senior High Schools in the Bunkpurugu/Yunyoo District in the Northen Region have been upgraded into boarding schools.
The schools; Bunkpurugu Senior High School and Nakpanduri Senior High School have been the topmost prioritized schools in the district.
Mr. Philip Laari, District Chief Executive of the Bunkpurugu/ Yunyoo who disclosed this last week after a meeting in Tamale commended the Deputy Minister for Education, Hon Mahama Ayariga for the significant role he played for the upgrading of the schools.
He explained that, even though the institutions lacked adequate facilities and logistics, they both performed commendably in Academics and administrative duties.
Mr. Laari expressed hope that the schools would one-day rise to rock shoulders with top school in the country.
Chief Kuito Harrison Salifu, Headmaster of Nakpanduri SHS Speaking in an interview was appreciative of the effort and thanked the government for the gesture.
Some of the students in an interview also called on benovelont organizations to help provide the school with more classrooms, hostels, ICT centre, Dining Hall, Teachers Bungalow and a school bus.
