GUSHIEGU:Assembly delivers furniture to Kindergarten schools

The Gushiegu District Assembly has allocated portions of its Common Fund towards securing school furniture to promote education at the foundational level.
The Assembly in this light has delivered 80 set of chairs to some selected Kindergarten schools in the area.
This is supposed to assist school kids get the needed facilities that will enhance classroom activities, as well as boost their interest to pursue higher heights in education.
District Chief Executive for the area, Fuseini Alhassan in an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com noted that the move is a step to ensuring equity in the distribution of the national cake to all levels of education in the area.
Meanwhile, accommodation for student nurses at the Gushiegu Midwifery Training School will improve markedly as the Assembly has provided an additional dormitory block for the school.
This was also facilitated through the District Assembly Common fund (DACF), and forms part of efforts to realizing the “Better Ghana” agenda in the area.
