THLD:2 steel bridges under-construction

With support from the Dutch Government, the Twifo Heman Lower Denkyira (THLD) District Assembly of the Central Region is constructing two new steel bridges to link the Dokodo-Otukrom and Adugyaa-Kotokrom communities respectively.
 
The projects are expected to facilitate movement of motorist and Pedestrians within the beneficiary communities.

The District Chief Executive, Foster Joseph Andoh said the assembly is doing a lot to provided road users the needed comfort. To this end, he disclosed that the assembly in collaboration with the Ghana COCOBOD has reshaped some major roads in the district.

They include Abrafo- Gyareware, Edziyaw Agric Bangalow and Abrafo- Bekawopa roads.

In another development, Mr. Andoh said Jukwa Senior High School has also benefited from a new girls’ dormitory block as away of reducing congestions in the dormitories.
