LAWRA:Lawra Hospital get mortuary block
 | | | Morgue | |
The Lawra District Assembly is stepping up efforts to promote quality health delivery, so as to meet the health challenges of inhabitants of the area.
As a result of this, the Assembly is seriously engaging other stakeholders in the health sector such as the Ghana Health Service, Ministry of Health (MOH), Non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) and other health agencies to address the key concerns of the people relating to health matters.
District Chief Executive for the area, Abu Samson in a recent interview with Ghanadistricts.com pointed out that the latest infrastructural development secured in the sector is a state-of-the-art mortuary for the Lawra Hospital, a situation he said will greatly influence provision of health services and delivery at the facility.
He said this move is part of implementations designed under the “Better Ghana” agenda to respond to some of the grave challenges, as well as the bottlenecks that hampers the quality health delivery in the district.
