 | | | Physically challenged person | |
Persons with disability in the Chereponi District are being offered a glimmer of hope in their wellbeing, as the Assembly is faithfully delivering their share of the ‘national cake’ to them to ease their plight.
An amount worth GHS 25,300 were lodged into the Disability Management Fund under phase one of the Disability Account which was scheduled to be disbursed to these individuals in the district.
In the light of this, about two hundred and fifty three physically challenged persons have benefited from this amount to facilitate their economic lives in the area.
The funds were sourced from the 2% quota of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) meant to improve the living conditions of these people under the “Better Ghana” agenda.
