LAWRA:Assembly hands over CHPS centre to Kunyukuo

The Lawra District Assembly in collaboration with the Ghana Social Opportunity Project (GSOP) has handed over new Community based health Planning and Services (CHPS) centre to Kunyukuo a community in the district.

The new facility which is ready for operations would offer the opportunity for inhabitants to access primary healthcare in the area.

This was made known in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com by the District Chief Executive for the area, Abu Samson when discussing the vital projects secured so far in the health sector.

He noted that the government together with the Assembly has provided good number of projects in the sector within a span of three years to meet the health needs of residents of the district.

He therefore reiterated that the Assembly would still make sure that it continuously injects projects that will directly impact the health conditions of the people in the district.
