Mr. Ameen Salifu was speaking to Ghanadistricts.com in an interview to discuss the state of the health sector in the district.
He argued that because of the myriads of health interventions implemented to improve quality health delivery, it has manifested in controlling some of these health issues which could have crippled the health sector.
He said the Assembly has earnestly step up its efforts in getting most local areas covered with potable water, saying that about 85% of the communities in the district have been supplied with safe drinking water to improve their livelihood.
