AJUMAKO: construction of 2 major roads to commence

A sod cutting ceremony has been held for the construction of two (2) major roads in the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam (AEE) District in the Central Region.

The roads which are for the Esiam Township and Nkwantanum-Assin Manso trunk road will to a large extent boost the road network in the district as well as to facilitate the transportation of timber and agricultural products to marketing centres.

The District Chief Executive, Peter Light Koomson who confirmed this to Ghanadsitricts.com was hopeful the roads will help facelift the status of the district in their quest to entrench the Better Ghana Agenda in the area.

He revealed that a number of school projects have also been undertaken to improve teaching and learning in the district.
