SEKYERE S:ICT project nears completion

As part of the Better Ghana agenda, an Information Communication Technology (ICT) project is nearing completion in the Sekyere South District in the Ashanti Region.

The project when completed and stocked with computers will enable the area to be at par with development trend in the world.

Both teachers and students in the area will make use of the facility to learn and share ideas with the rest of the world with just a click by using a computer mouse.

Disclosing this in interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the Chief Executive for Sekyere South District, Edward Kusi Ayarkwa believed that the project will help boost the standard of education in the area.

In another development, the assembly is currently putting up a police station, which is currently at roofing level to improve security in the district.

Also a number of Kindergarten blocks have also been constructed to boost pre-school education in the area.
