WA: Gravelling and filling of Piisi JHS roads completed

The Wa Municipal Assembly is taking steps to reshape and improve more community roads in the municipality.

A number of road projects have been rolled out in the municipality by the Assembly to boost road infrastructure at Wa and the surrounding environs.

The Assembly has for instance completed the gravelling of access roads and filling around Piisi Junior High School (JHS). With the support of the District Wide Assistance Project (DWAP), the Assembly was able to expend a total of GHS 16,988.72 to execute the project.

In other related development, the Assembly has undertaken the construction of drains at Dondoli and Petvero areas respectively. The project which is ongoing is initiated to enhance the drainage system in the municipality.
