SISSALA W: Jeffisi L/A to get light soon

Efforts by government to get more local areas connected to the national grid are on course in the Sissala West District.

The Assembly has expressed its willingness to hook up at least two educational institutions in the Jeffisi electoral area to electricity to improve learning in the area.

The Assemblyman, Bachua Issaka hinted in an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com that he had already engaged the Assembly on the need to provide light for inhabitants of the area.

He was however quick to add that the Assembly had assured to extend electricity to the community and its surrounding environs.

As part of measures to kick start the electrification project, the Assembly has recently undertaken an electrical wiring exercise at Jeffisi L/A school in the area.

The Assembly has also considered extending light to the ICT centre in the community in order to afford inhabitants  the opportunity to utilize the facility in an enhanced way.
