NANUMBA S: Assembly to secure new office for EC

The District Chief Executive for the Nanumba South District Assembly, Alhaji Amidu Seidu has expressed the readiness of the Assembly to secure an office facility for the Electoral Commission in the district.

He reiterated that plans were far advanced on this move, as the Assembly had already considered that project among a number of projects which would be rolled out this year in the area.

He said the Assembly will endeavour to complete the project soon as possible to enable the smooth operations of the EC in the district.

Meanwhile the Assembly together with the Department of Feeder Roads has moved to reshape the Wulensi-Opijua road in the area. The DCE noted that this was necessary to enhance transportation in the district.

He hinted that the Assembly had the mandate to improve the wellbeing of inhabitants, thus pledged the commitment of the Assembly to secure massive development to reflect the “Better Ghana” agenda.
