GA S: Obom-Kojoman school gets new ICT centre

In order to boost the level and knowledge of Information and Communication Technology in the area, a new ICT centre has been inaugurated for the Obom-Kojoman M/A Primary and Junior High School (JHS) in the Ga South Municipality.
The project was part of facilities of a 3-unit classroom block which cost GHs 225,600, a project which was undertaken by Samsung Korea and World Vision Ghana.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony at the school, the Coordinating Director for the Ga South Municipality, Siegfried Kwame Addo on behalf of the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Armah Ashietey reiterated the government’s commitment in improving the level of education in the country.
He observed that about 52 schools have so far been captured under the school feeding programme in the Municipality.
He however expressed appreciation to Samsung Korea and World Vision Ghana for the gesture and however called for the proper use of the facility to which it was donated.
The Municipal Director of Education, Florence Addo, was grateful for the facility and promised for the proper utilization of it.
