TWIFO: MP donates items to Praso Hospital

Mrs Elizabeth Amoah-Tetteh, Member of Parliament for Twifo Atti Morkwa Constituency donated hospital items worth hundreds of cedis to the Twifo Praso government hospital.
The items included hand gloves, face mask, dressing trolley, gauze pack and walking sticks which were presented to her by “Virtue Foundation” a non-governmental organization based in the USA with its branch in Ghana.
Mrs Amoah-Tetteh who is also a deputy minister of education said the items were donated to the women caucus in Parliament and that it was to support government social intervention policy on quality health delivery for the nation.
She appealed to the medical staff of the hospital to ensure the judicious use of the items.
Mr Benjamin Annan, the medical officer in charge of the hospital, thanked the minister for the donation and promised to use the items to improve upon the health delivery service in the district.
Dr Annan appealed to the MP to assist them procure laundry equipment such as dryers, washers and hangers.
