ADENTAN: MCE lauds Lakeside Estate over housing project

The Chief Executive for Adentan Municipal Assembly, Nubyl Kakra Vanlare has lauded the efforts of Lakeside Estate Limited, a real estate developer, for  the construction of a new housing project dubbed “Lakeside community 8” project in the municipality.

The project is aimed at providing decent accommodation fitted with modern facilities to ensure customer comfort and satisfaction.

The MCE delivering a short address at the launch of the project at New Legon in the Adentan Municipality observed that over the past few years, there has been a lot pressure on social amenities, especially housing, in the country due to the escalating population of the country.

“There’s an acute shortage of accommodation in the country, as statistics show that in Accra alone, about one million new housing units are needed,” she declared.

She however applauded the management of Lakeside Estate Limited, for what she described as an “invaluable contribution to national development.”

The Director of Lakeside Estate Ltd, Mr. Salah Kalmoni, announced the integration of three green building technologies into almost all houses put up by the company as a means to guarantee an environmentally friendly environment.

The three green building technologies are solar electricity, rain harvesting and biogas septic tank systems.
