EFFUTU: Assembly constructs two ICT centres

The Municipal Chief Executive for the Effutu Municipality in the Central Region,Nii Ephraim has indicated that the Assembly in the quest to enhance quality education  in the municipality has constructed two ICT centres.

He believed this would go a long  way to improve the level of education and literacy in the area.

In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the MCE revealed that the Assembly was committed to ensuring that education receives a facelift in the area.

The MCE further hinted that the performance of the Basic Education Certificate Examination(BECE) in the Municipality had been poor previously, but was however quick to add that the Assembly has implemented measures to correct the problem.

Mr. Ephraim therefore commended the performance of the municipality in this yearís BECE examination and disclosed that the Assembly would make efforts in developing education in the area.
