DANGME WEST: Prez commissions GH˘ 2M infrastructure project for Ghanata SHS

President Mills has commissioned two new (2) projects amounting to GH¢ 2,053,429.17. at the Ghanata Senior High School of the Dangme West District
The project is part of the president’s campaign promise on the ideals of the “Better Ghana Agenda” to improve infrastructure as a means to enhancing education at all levels in the country.
The projects are; a 3 unit storey dormitory building and a 12 unit storey classroom block and are expected to be completed within eleven (11) months.
Mr. Benjamin K. Apperkon, Headmaster for the school, speaking at the programme expressed his appreciation to the president for commissioning the project in order for work to begin.
He however appealed to the president to help provide a headmaster’s bungalow, an assembly hall and provide accommodation for the staff in a form of flats for them to be able to monitor students’ activities effectively.
The President, John Evans Attah Mills promised to provide such lacking facilities highlighted by the headmaster of the school with the hope that it will create a conducive atmosphere for the teachers.
Prof. J.E.A Mills however admonished the students to exhibit good moral qualities since they are the future leaders of the country.
The commissioning of the projects was part of the Presidents tour to some parts of the Greater Accra Region today.
