AKYEMANSA : New roads to improve local economy

The DCE for Akyemansa in the Eastern Region ,  Tom Budu says massive road and social infrastracture projects are on going in the area to open up the district for an economic take off.

Mr Budu said in order for the  “Better Ghana Agenda”,to be felt by all governement is opening up the   infrastructural foundation of the area to accommodate all types of trading activities.
    
In an interview   the  District Chief Executive, said serious construction work has begun on the Edubiase-Paa Wudu road to facilitate the smooth transportation of people and goods
    

he added that  under the Urban Water Supply Scheme, three boreholes had been sunk at Ofoase Zongo, Ofoase market area and an adjoining town, Ofoase Kuma, and shall  be mechanised and distributed to residence of the area.
    
He he stressed that additional boreholes would be dug at Bontodiase and Asuboa North while the construction of a head-tank and the distribution network to the beneficiary communities is almost complete..
