ENERGY : Group pledges to resolve LPG shortage

Members of the Ghana Liquefied Petroleum Gas Operators Association (GPLGOA), have pledged to collaborate with state agencies to find a lasting solution to the frequent shortage of gas.
This was made known at the end of a five-day training programme in Tema to equip 25 members of the association with knowledge and skills needed for effective advocacy on LPG.
The participants called for continuous supply of LPG to reduce the use of wood fuel to save the country’s forest.
They also resolved to ensure safety, good health and sound environmental practices their communities.
The Co-ordinator of GLPGOA, Ama Lokko, lauded the positive role of the BUSAC Fund, and the development partners, towards national development.
