(KWAMIKROM) JASIKAN: Church repairs damaged bridge at Kwamikrom

Members of the Kwamikrom branch of the White Cross Church on Tuesday spent several hours repairing part of the damaged bridge
over Kronkron stream on the Kwamikron/Jasikan road.

Led by Elder Solomon Mensah, the members built a new gutter and filled pot-holes with stones and gravels.

Mr Mensah told GNA that the deplorable condition of the road, especially the bridge, became the concern of the Church members hence the communal activity to repair the bridge.

Floods caused by recent rains damaged the road and the bridge.

About four years ago Messrs Belfinger and Berger that was working on the 140-kilometre Kpando/Dambai road built the temporary bridge after the company’s heavy duty machines had damaged the original bridge.
