NATIONAL: National day of prayer

A national day of prayer and fund-raising for the senior national team, the Black Stars has been declared.  This is to prepare the players spiritually towards the World Cup tournament in South Africa next month. 

A statement from the Ministry of Youth and  Sports said Friday, Saturday and Sunday have been set aside as days to give all Ghanaians both Christians and Muslims the  opportunity to support the players with their prayers.
