Born on August 20,1962 and comes from Kyebi, Eastern Region and married with three children.He holds BA (Law and Philosophy) UG, BL(GSL) which he obtained in 1989 and 1993 respectively.

He is a Lawyer and was the Head of Chambers, Zoe Akyea & Co, Accra (Barristers, Solicitors and Notary Public) before he became an MP. He is a christian(ICGC).

He obtained 22,681 votes out of the 30,109 valid votes cast =75.3% in the last elections and represents the New Patriotic party and a member of the minority in parliament.
