Born on January 3,1957 and comes from Wlitey, Volta Region and married with five children.He holds  LLB (UG), BL(GSL), which he obtained in 1984 and 1986  respectively.

He is a Lawyer and worked at the Attorney-General’s Department; before he became an MP. He is a christian(Evangelical Presbyterian).

He obtained 23,419 votes out of the 34,391 valid votes cast = 68.1% in the last elections and represents the National Democratic Congress and a member of the majority in parliament.
