She comes from Gbawe-Accra in the Greater Accra Region.Born on February 8,1963 and single with two children. Hon. Botchwey holds MA(University of Westminster)2002 and MBA (Project Management) UG, 2004.
She is a Communication Consultant and was the MD of Dynacom Limited before she became an MP. She is a christian (Anglican).
She is a member of the minority and representing the NPP and obtained 63,377 votes out of the 117,914 valid votes cast = 53.7% in the last elections.
