Cape Coast Castle
From the Portuguese cabo corso (short cape), built in the 1480s by the Portuguese and as the first European building in West Africa. Not to be missed is the "door of no return" where slaves were led out of the dungeons and onto ships that would take them away from their families forever. A must see site located in the Cape Coast Metropolitan in the Central Region of Ghana.
