The key development issues are the highlights of the broad range of problems and concerns that were captured during the presentation of the current development situation within the various institutional and topical sectors. However since the main objective of strategic planning is to JC identify and tackle the most critical issues given the limited time frame the following issses- are the priority issues, which were identified.

Number of KG’s in 2003 is 24, Primary 118, JSS 18 and SSS 2 KG’s in 2004 is 29 Primary 119, JSS 19 and SSS 2 KG’s in 2005 is 43 Primary 127 JSS 24 and SSS 2 Number of Candidates presented for BECE in 2003 was 477, 362 males and 115 females Aggregate 6-30 total was 266, 226 males and 40 females In 2004 total of 538 were presented, 408 males and 130 females 406 passed, 311 males and 96 females In 2005 579 presented 434 males, 145 females, 434 passes -342 males, 92 females.
