The District currently has about 10km of asphalted Class I roads, 29km of Class II, and about 327km of Class III. However, feeder roads form a greater percentage of the road network. Some of the feeder roads can be travelled on throughout the year (all season), while others are only accessible on a seasonal basis. The all season feeder road network includes 60.8 km of gravel surface, 45.3 of earth, and 5.5 km of bitumen. 80% of feeder roads are located in the southern part of the District where higher population and economic activities are concentrated. A significant percentage of the feeder roads are in deplorable state, particularly in the Afram Plains where mobility and accessibility are being constrained as a result of the poor nature of the network. The table below lists the name of the all season feeder roads, its surfacing, and its condition.

Altogether, the District has 363 km of roads running through the district and a 10 Km stretch of railway running through Konongo, a section of the Eastern railway line from Kumasi to Accra. Feeder roads form a greater percentage of the road network and about 80% of these are located in the southern half of the district where a higher proportion of the population and economic activities are concentrated. The railway facility is of vital importance in the district, used mostly by market women to cart foodstuffs to Accra and other marketing centres.

Railways
There is a 10 km stretch of the Kumasi-Accra Railway line running through Konongo-Odumasi. The railway facility used to be of vital importance in the conveyance of goods and people in the sixties. The facility is however, in deplorable state and unable to provide the required services at the moment.

Telecommunication
The district has a telecommunication Exchange Facility which serves two other sister Districts including Asante Akim South and Ejisu Juaben. 

Postal Agencies
There are four post offices operating the District, each at Konongo, Odumase, Juansa and Agogo. Domeabra did have a post office but it has recently gone out of operation. At one point in time, there were also a number postal agencies operating in the District. However, their operations have also been discontinued. More postal facilities are needed to complement the existing ones to facilitate ease of public access. This is because some communities are far apart from each other and it may take long to commute to areas where such facility is available. In addition, there is need for upgrading of existing post offices as some of them are in poor conditions.
