THE 2011 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (AAP)
The AAP document/report is presented in sections as below,

Introduction, which gives a brief description of the District profile and the planning cycle Describes the sector Profiles according to the GPRS thematic areas and description of planned projects/programmes for the year 2010 Deals with the detailed Annual Action Plan with indicative cost, location, time frame, funding and responsible agencies among, others in matrix form for each thematic area.

Details financing the AAP and sectoral budgetary allocation. Give the monitoring and Evaluation scheduled and budget in a matrix form Conclusion and the way forward. In the AAP, good governance has the targeted budgetary allocation.  This is to provide infrastructure for the new district.  The other areas will be given appropriate attention in subsequent years.

Projects/programmes proposed to improve the potable water and sanitation situation are as follows;

• Construction of 1. No 10 Seater Aqua Privy Public Toilet at Tuoaboba
• Construction of 1. No 10 Seater Aqua Privy Public Toilet at Duabone
• Construction of District Mortuary at Atebubu
• Construction of 1. No 10 Seater  Aqua Privy  Public Toilet at Sanwakyi/Afrefreso
• Construction of 1. No 10 Seater Aqua Privy Public Toilet at Akokoa Asanteline
• Construction of 1. No 12 Seater Aqua Privy Public Toilet at Kokofu
• Construction of 1. No 10 Seater Aqua Privy Public Toilet at Jato-Zongo
• Construction of 1. No 10 Seater Aqua Privy Public Toilet at Atebubu Highway Area
• Drilling and Construction of 21No. Boreholes - District wide
• Construction of 1. No 20 Seater  Aqua Privy  Public Toilet  at New Konkrompe

Total amount for water and sanitation is vis-à-vis ..% of the budget.  About 35% of the population have access to potable water in the district.
