is located in the heart of the Upper West region of Ghana. It lies between latitude 11’ 30’ and 10’ 20’ north and longitude 3’ 10’ and 2’10’ west. It is bordered to the south by Wa Municipal Assembly, west by Burkina Faso, north by Jirapa district and to the east by the Sissala West district.
It covers a total land area of 2,742.50km2 and extends from the Billi bridge (4km from Wa) to the Dapuori bridge (almost 12km from Jirapa)
The Chiefs and people of the Kaleo Traditional Area in the Upper West Region have expressed their gratitude to the President for appointing Mr Roger Angsonmwine to the office of the Secretary to the Cabinet.
The District Chief Executive for the Nadowli District Assembly, Abu Kasangabata has stated that the Assembly would this year focus more on the economic empowerment of people to reduce poverty in the area.
The Nadowli District Assembly is still keeping pace with development issues, as three roads in the area have been earmarked to open the bid for execution this year.
