Ho West District is one of the 25 districts in the Volta Region of Ghana. It was established by the Legislative Instrument (LI) 2083 of 2012. It was curved out of Ho Municipality in January 2012 and inaugurated in June, 2013.The District derived its name from Ho West constituency. It is the highest political and administrative authority in the District. Its District capital is Dzolokpuita.
Two new community-based health planning and service (CHPS) compounds are to be built this year at Luvudo and Anyirawase as the assembly continues to bring health delivery closer to the door steps of residents.
The Ho West District Assembly in the Volta Region is to carryout major reforms in the education sector to improve standard of education in the sector, District Chief Executive, Sammy Ewoade has disclosed.
