Afadjato District is one of the twenty five (25) Municipalities and Districts in the Volta Region of Ghana. The District was curved out from Hohoe Municipal in the year 2012 and was inaugurated on the 28th June 2012 by then the President of the Republic of Ghana H.E. J.E.A Mills. The Administrative capital of the District is Ve Golokwati. The District shares boundaries with Hohoe Municipal to the North, Kpando Municipal to the west, to the east with the Republic of Togo and to the south with Ho West District and South Dayi District respectively.
The Deputy Volta Regional Minister, Francis Komla Ganyaglo has cautioned the educational sector that government’s commitment to provide ICT facilities to communities, schools and students at various levels should not be mere fanfare.
The Volta Regional Directorate of the Local Enterprises and Skills Development Programme (LESDEP), has begun a series of youth targeted-interactions to get young people out of their fixation for formal sector jobs.
