Suaman District with its administrative capital Dadieso was carved from Aowin/Suaman and forms part of the new districts and municipalities created in the year 2012 and were inaugurated at their various locations simultaneously on the 28th June, 2012. The District forms part of twenty two (22) Metropolitan, Municipalities and Districts in the Western Region of Ghana. The District shares boundaries with the mother District Aowin District to the south. To the north with Bodi District, to the east with Sefwi Akontobra and to the west with Ivory Coast.
GS International, the Chinese Contraction Company that has been awarded contract for the construction of the Akontombra-Nkwanta-Dadieso road has met with stakeholders in the Suaman District in the Western Region.
Five hundred and thirty-five students from seventeen schools in the Suaman District in the Western Region have taken part in this year’s mock examination to prepare them towards the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
