Bodi District with its Administrative capital Bodi was carved from Juaboso and forms part of the new districts and municipalities created in the year 2012 and were inaugurated at their various locations simultaneously on the 28th June, 2012. The District forms part of twenty two (22) Metropolitan, Municipalities and Districts in the Western Region of Ghana. The District shares boundaries with Juabeso District to the north, to the south with Sefwi Akontombra District and Suaman District respectively, to the east with Sefwi Wiawso District and to the west with Ivory Coast.
With the growing demands of improved basic social and economic amenities Mr. Solomon Fuachie has charged traditional authorities, Area Council Members, and Assembly members to assist the Assembly to improve upon internally generated revenue to be able to meet these demands.
District Chief Executive of Bodi District in the Western Region, Solomon Fuachie has hailed the selfless commitment of all stakeholders in the administration of the district which has resulted in the district passing the 2013 Functional Organisational Assessment Tool (FOAT) assessment.
