Akyemansa District forms part of the twenty six (26) Municipalities and Districts in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The Administrative Capital of the District is
Ofoase. The District shares boundaries with Birim Central Municipal to the south, to the north with Birim North District. To the west with Adansi South and to the east with Denkyembour District.
AKYEMANSA: Assembly assigns names to twenty streets
Over twenty principal streets at Ofoase in the Akyemansa District have been assigned names in the first phase of the nationwide Street Naming and Property Numbering (SNPN) exercise.
AKYEMANSA: DCE appeals for hard work
Mr Tom Budu, Akyemansu, District Chief Executive (DCE), has appealed to departmental heads, to contribute their maximum quota to the development of the nation.
AKYEMANSA:District is improving steadily”-DCE By November 2014, construction of a multipurpose administrative block estimated at about GH¢ 946,769.64 to house the Akyemmansa District Assembly would have been completed.
AKYEMANSA: Hunger Project-Gh receives Japanese grant
The Japanese Government on Tuesday signed a 119,964 dollar- grant with The Hunger Project-Ghana (THP-Ghana), to support the provision of safe water for clinics in the Eastern Region.

Mr Tom Budu, Akyemmansa District Chief Executive (DCE), has assured the District that he would fulfill his mandate by ensuring the execution of more developmental projects in the next four years.
