The Upper Manya District Assembly with support from the government through the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has provided basic schools in the district with furniture.

Plan Ghana and the Korea International Co-operation Agency (KOICA) have handed over a GH¢259,163 six-unit classroom block, to the Kwabea Asasehene District Assembly Primary School, in the Upper Manya Krobo District of the Eastern Region.
