Atwima Nwabiagya District is one of the largest districts in the Ashanti Region. The District lies approximately on latitude 6o 75’N and between longitude 1o 45’ and 2o 00’ West. It is one of the 27 political and administrative Districts in Ashanti Region.
It is situated in the Western part of the region and shares common boundaries with Ahafo Ano South and Atwima Mponua Districts (to the West), Offinso Municipal to the North, Amansie–West and Bosomtwe-Atwima Kwanwoma Districts to the South, Kumasi Metropolis and Kwabre Districts to the East. It covers an estimated area of 294.84 sq km. The district capital is Nkawie.
The Youth for Change Educational Complex (YFC) at Asuofua in the Atwima-Nwabiagya District has taken delivery of educational materials valued at about GH¢6,000.00.
In order to make life confortable for residents of Mfensi in the Atwima Nwabiagya District in the Ashanti Region, a standard sanitary facility has been provided for them.
Ntensere, a deprived town in the Atwima-Nwabiagya District in the Ashanti Region has had its fair share of the national cake as more and more enviable projects are being executed in for them.
