The ledzokuku Krowor Municipal with its Administrative Capital at Nungua forms part of the sixteen(16) Metropolis Municipalities and Districts in the Greater Accra Region. The core mission of the Municipality is to ‘To improve livelihoods and provide adequate socioeconomic infrastructure in an equitable and sustainable manner for the people of the Municipality through effective stakeholder collaboration within a secure, decentralised system of governance and sound environmental management’. The Municipality shares boundaries with La Dade-Kotopon Municipal to the west, Tema Metropolitan to the east, to the north with Ashaiman municipal and to the South with the Gulf of Guinea .
As part of measures to educate the public on fire safety to prevent fire outbreaks, and in the unlikely event of its occurrence, how to deal with it, a sensitization training workshop was organized for second cycle students in the Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly.
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) have went on to install its newly introduced "street prepaid meters” at Nungua in the Ledzokuku Krowor Municipality after series of agitations between the company and some residents who have earlier resisted attempts made by the company to install the said meters.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Ledzokuku Krowor Municipal Assembly (LEKMA), Mr. Seth Badu Tawiah has said the assembly will soon demolish all identified illegal structures in the area to avoid imminent floods.
