Tax payment is not suicidal to business growth — CEO, Private Enterprise Federation
The Private Enterprise Federation in collaboration with The Open Society of African is embarking on national sensitization exercise on how small scale enterprise organizations could honor their tax obligation in due time.

Speaking to the CEO of the Private Enterprise Federation, Nana Osei Bonsu stated that, most private organizations in Ghana hold the notion that fulfilling tax obligation could jeopardize their business status and its high time Ghanaians killed such perceptions.

"Fulfilling tax obligation is another way that the country could developed but most of the people are not enlightened, that is why we have taken it upon ourselves to embark on national sensitization exercise", he added.



He opined that, the government has several ambitions to revamp the private sector businesses but before such interventions could be made, industrial players ought to register their companies and oblige to their taxes.

He made this known when a workshop was organized by the Federation for Small scale Entrepreneurs in Ashanti Mampong.



Mr. Samuel Anokye, the chairman for the Small Scale Enterprises in Ashanti Mampong applauded the frontliners for schooling them on tax obligations, and also lament on challenges bedeviling them.
