Mr. Bomba-Ire said, it was observed that the water volume has increased massively, gradually invading the living space of the inhabitants close to the river covering a distance of about 45 to 50m.

The MCE, who visited the community, advised the people to start preparing their minds to relocate if the water continues to push towards their homes.

He added that, though the river does not get the full impact of the water from the Bagri Dam, its impact is felt by this river and as the spill wave continues to push more excess water from the dam, this river also continues to increase in volume.

The MCE was accompanied by the Municipal NADMO Director, the NABCO coordinator, and the Assemblyman for Bagri Electoral Area.
