MCE commissions new classroom block

Mr Daniel Owuredu, the Municipal Chief Executive, Nkoranza South, has commissioned a three unit classroom block at Nkoranza M/A ‘A’ Junior High School to beef up the school’s infrastructure.

Speaking at a short ceremony, the MCE says, while the old building for the school was not in any good shape, the population of students too, exceeded the capacity of the facility.

However, the new three unit classroom block is an intervention by the Assembly to help improve infrastructure at the school and make teaching and learning conducive for our children.

Providing quality education for our children remains a number one priority to us, hence, the reason we have achieved this milestone.

Having commissioned the three unit classroom block at Nkoranza M/A "A" JHS (JUSEC), the MCE equally cut sod for the construction of a six-unit classroom block for the Nkoranza Roman Catholic School.

“These critical measures we are taking in the area of education for our children is to provide an enabling and learner friendly atmosphere for our children to better their future.

“In that regard, we will ensure the completion of the project is done as soon as possible'' he stated.
