Students in Akuapim South write B.E.C.E
This year's Basic Education Certificate Examination commenced from the 14th to the 18th of September, 2020 across all Junior High Schools in the country.

A team made up of some management members including the Hon. Frank Aidoo (MCE) and Ms. Lydia Akuetey (MCD), Education Directorate representatives and Security Agencies visited the various centres to monitor the proceedings of the exams and interacted with candidates.

This year, the municipality had a total of One Thousand and Eighty-Two (1,082) of registered candidates. Out of this number, three (3) girls were absent for the exams.

The Ghana School Feeding Program extended its services to the Junior High School (JHS) 3 students by providing them with one hot meal from the 24th August to the 18th of September, 2020 as the president instructed.

The MCE advicing students encouraged them to take their studies serious so they excel in the exams and make their parents and guardians proud.

The MCE in his interactions, made it known that the construction of the Kitase Vocational School is almost done, furniture for teachers have been delivered and therefore encouraged all especially the Assembly members to sensitize their community members to send their wards there upon its completion.
