Mr. Appau said the Assembly would work with the communities on favourable designs and fast track construction of the toilets.

The DCE said it was a must for households to own toilets and communities and households, which refused to comply with the Assembly's sanitation bylaws, would be dealt with.

Mr. Appau called for unity and peaceful coexistence in the District towards the rapid development, saying, "We are all one people".

He said the Assembly had tens of thousands of cocoa, coffee, and cashew seedlings for free distribution, and asked farmers to consider planting tree crops to enhance their livelihoods and protect the environment.

The DCE also said the District had taken delivery of 25,000 bags of heavily subsidized fertilizer to support farming and asked farmers to take advantage of the support.

Alhaji Musa Ayuba, Chief Imam of Anfoeta-Tsebi Zongo asked the people to take advantage of Government's efforts at developing inner cities, and pursue agriculture for development.

Prayers were offered for the nation and its leadership and also for the development of the District.
