MCE meets 2 communities over Rural Electrification Projects

The Municipal Chief Executive for Lawra Municipal Assembly in the Upper West Region, Mr. Bomba-Ire Martin Domotiere met the Chiefs and people of the Birifoh-Baapari and Gombille communities in the Lawra Municipality to engage with them on the completion of a rural electrification project.

The two communities are part of the list of beneficiary communities where the electrification project was started and completed by this government and the NEDco wants to take consumer data for their meters.

Speaking with Ghanadistricts.com, the MCE said, this program is therefore to remind the beneficiary communities of government's commitment to them and the need to strictly follow the NEDco recommendations on the wiring of their houses and business centers.

The Chiefs and people were happy and grateful to the government for the project, the engagement and sensitization and pledged to follow all the recommendations by the NEDco.
